An estimate needs pictures next to the measurements. Scanivo keeps the photos you take on site in the same project as the scan: tagged, by room, pinned to the plan and the 3D model where you stood, and collected into a photo report PDF for the proposal.
A shutter button sits on the scan screen. A photo taken there keeps the camera position from the scan, so it shows up in the plan view and the 3D viewer as a pin at the spot you stood, pointing the way you looked. Click the pin and the photo opens. With high-detail capture on, these photos are 12 MP.
Photos can also be taken from the project screen with the camera, picked from the library, or uploaded from the browser in the portal. Those get a room and a tag, but no pin.
Every photo carries a room, a tag and a note, so the gallery and the report sort themselves:
The portal’s Photos tab filters by room, tag and date, and the tag, room and note can be changed there after the visit.
Tap 360°, stand still and turn around; a ring fills as the turn completes. Scanivo stitches the frames of the turn into a panorama, using the scan’s own camera tracking to line them up, and levels the exposure between them. In the portal the panorama opens in a viewer you drag to look around and scroll to zoom, and it sits on the plan and in the 3D model as a ring where you stood.
No extra camera: the iPhone that scans the room takes the panorama.
One click in the portal or the app makes a PDF of the project’s photos: a cover with the project, client and address, then a section per room with its area and ceiling height, a plan sketch with the camera pins, and the photos with their tag, time and note. Photos without a room come last under “Site photos”. The report is made when you ask for it, so it always shows the current tags and notes.
Site photos, 360° panoramas and the photo report come with every plan and with the free trial. Photos count toward your storage like scans do. High-detail capture (12 MP photos and denser depth data) is a Pro and Enterprise option. Compare plans.
