1. Who we are

Scanivo is operated by Yildiz Consulting LLC (“Scanivo”, “we”, “us”), a company in the United States. The service consists of the Scanivo iPhone app and the Scanivo web portal. It is offered to professionals and businesses in the United States.

2. What we collect

We collect only what the service needs:

  • Account identity: your email address, your name, and the ID of the Google or Apple account you sign in with. If you choose to hide your email with Sign in with Apple, we receive Apple’s relay address instead. When you use Sign in with Apple we also keep an Apple token, encrypted, so we can revoke Scanivo’s access when you delete your account.
  • Your team: your organization’s name, its members and their roles, and the email addresses of people you invite.
  • Scans and projects: the room data the app records (walls, doors, windows, objects and their dimensions), the 3D mesh, photos taken by the camera during the scan, depth data if you turn that option on, and the names, notes and room names you add. From these we produce plans, PDF sheets, DXF, IFC and 3D files. Scans show the inside of buildings and may show people, documents or belongings that were in view.
  • Subscription details: your plan, number of seats, subscription status and renewal date, and your Stripe customer ID. Payments are handled by Stripe; we never see or store your card number.
  • Device signals for the free trial: the app sends an Apple App Attest key ID (or an ID that is the same for all apps from our company on your iPhone) and an Apple DeviceCheck token. We use them only to stop people from starting free trials over and over. They are not used for advertising or to follow you across other apps or websites.
  • Problem reports: when you use Report a problem in the app, what you write, the problem type, the app version, your iPhone model and iOS version and, if you send it from a scan, that scan’s ID. We keep it with your account so we can reply, and may copy it, without your name or email, into the issue tracker we use to fix bugs. It is deleted with your account.
  • Usage and security records: how many scans you have and how much storage you use; sign-ins and account changes with the time and IP address; and server logs of requests (time, address, status), which are rotated automatically.

We do not collect your location, contacts, microphone audio or browsing history, and the app has no advertising or analytics SDKs. You can scan and review scans on the iPhone without an account; nothing leaves the phone until you sign in and upload.

3. How we use it

  • To sign you in and keep you signed in.
  • To store your scans, turn them into drawings and models, and let your team view and download them.
  • To apply your plan’s features and limits, run the free trial and bill subscriptions.
  • To send account emails, such as trial reminders and notice before data is deleted. Stripe sends receipts and invoices. We do not send marketing email.
  • To prevent abuse, keep the service secure and fix problems.

We do not sell or rent your personal information, we do not share it for advertising, and we do not use your scans to train machine-learning models or in our marketing.

4. Who processes data for us

  • Google: Google Sign-In.
  • Apple: Sign in with Apple, App Attest and DeviceCheck.
  • Stripe: subscription payments, invoices and sales tax.
  • Cloudflare: secure network connection to our servers.
  • Amazon Web Services: encrypted off-site backups.
  • Our email delivery provider: sending account emails.

Scans, files and the account database are stored on our own servers in the United States.

5. Cookies and local storage

The web portal uses only the cookies it needs: a session cookie that keeps you signed in, a security token that protects your actions, and a short-lived cookie during Sign in with Apple. It also saves a few preferences in your browser, such as 3D viewer views. There are no advertising or analytics cookies.

6. How long we keep data

  • Account and project data are kept while your account is active.
  • After a free trial ends without a subscription, the account becomes read-only. Data under 5 GB is kept; if it is 5 GB or more, it is deleted 30 days after the trial ends, and we email you at least 7 days before.
  • When you delete your account, it is deleted at once. If you are the only member of your organization, its projects, scans and files are deleted and the subscription is cancelled. Copies in encrypted backups are removed as the backups age out, within about 12 months.
  • Stripe keeps payment and invoice records as the law requires.

7. Your choices and rights

You can download your files at any time from the portal. You can delete your account in the app (Settings → Plan → Delete account) or on the portal’s Account page. To see, correct or export your personal information, or for any other privacy request, email [email protected]. We honor these requests for every user, including the rights of California residents under the CCPA.

8. Scanning other people’s property

If you scan a property that is not yours, you are responsible for having permission from its owner and occupants, and for how you share the results. Organization owners decide who on their team can see their projects.

9. Children

Scanivo is a professional tool for adults. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

10. Security

Connections are encrypted (TLS). Projects are visible only to members of the organization that owns them. Backups are encrypted before they leave our servers. No system is perfect; if you find a vulnerability, please email us.

11. Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top will change, and we will tell you in the app or by email about important changes.

12. Contact

Questions and requests: [email protected].
